Kat's Dogs Safety and Guidelines Form

It's our passion to care for your pets as our family. We want you to know we take the following steps to prevent any incidents while boarding with us.

  • ALL STAFF IS TRAINED WITH PET CPR & FIRST AID KNOWLEDGE
  • In any case of emergency, we will take your pet to the requested veterinarian that you’ve recorded. If the emergency office is not recorded, we will transport your pet to the next best option. All vet fees will be paid in full by the Pet’s owner.
  • Puppies: Series of boosters must be complete for all dogs/puppies. Canine influenza is recommended. All dogs must be at least 16 weeks old. They MUST be spayed or neutered if older than 8 months.
  • All pets must be up to date on required yearly vaccines with proof history at least one week prior to stay. A dated record will be kept on file at the salon.
    • Rabies
    • Distemper/Parvo
    • Bordetella
  • To protect your pets and ours, all pets must be on a reputable brand of flea preventative. (Flea collars and Frontline are not sufficient)
  • Must be free of contagious disease such as puppy warts, kennel cough, fleas, worms, parasites ect.
  • All unaltered dogs will not be permitted to board unless it's a puppy that is 8 months or less.
  • Temperament Test Required- an evaluation to rate your dogs ability to play well with other canines and care taker is required. All doggie guests must be evaluated prior to stay by one of our Kat's Dogs employees.
    • (Out of town guests can pass with a series of question as well as a reference from a current doggie-day care in home town ect.)
  • EMERGENCY CONTACT REQUIRED; a friend, neighbor, or relative who knowingly takes the responsibility of picking up your pet should an emergency arise such as a MANDATORY EVACUATION.
  • Please keep your dog leashed and under control while entering the facility. You should walk through the entrance first and have your pet follow. Please do not allow jumping on staff; This will help show your pet that it is okay and you are in chargeJ.
